ADSS 96Core

General Detail

ADSS cable is a cable that is twisted into a loose tube. The fibers, 250μm, are positioned inside the loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. The tube is filled with a water-blocking compound. The tube (and filler) is twisted around an FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular core. After the core is filled with the filler compound, the cable is covered with a thin PE inner sheath. An Aramid yarn layer is then applied over the inner sheath as a strength member, and the cable is finished with an outer PE sheath (anti-tracking).
