Installation Steps

1 Open the box with the key.

2 Strip the outer sheath of the cable (and shield also if it is armored cable) and remove water blocking tape and wrappings until

loose protection tubes is exposed.

3 Clean all cable grease from loose tubes with cable cleaner.

4 Cut and discard all solid filler tubes and remove central strength members to around 60mm from sheath opening

5 Insert main fiber cable and secured it with the cable tie. Secured the fiber strength member to the strength member

relief clamp provided in the box and tighten it.

6 Bring the cable to the splice part.

7 This box can be used either to split the signal or splice and patch direct to the main cable. It suitable to house

splitter or adapters.

8 Patch the pigtail to the adapter or input splitter and slack the cable around the

cable management and bring it to the splice part at the back of the swing.

9 Splice the main cable to the pigtail as per company practice

10 Pre-insert optical drop cable to outlet holes, then seal and secure the drop

cable by cable gland and cable strength relief. Slack the cable around the cable

management

11 Pre-installed field assembly connector to the drop cable, then patch it to

the pigtail or output splitter.
