The optical fibers are placed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic and filled with
water-blocking compound.
FRP is applied as the central strength member.
The loose tubes are SZ-stranded around the central strength member.
Aramid yarn is used inside and around the core of the cable to prevent water ingress. A dual polyethylene sheath is applied
as the outer sheath.
