MTRJ Fiber Optic Patch Cable

General Detail

MT-RJ stands for Mechanical Transfer Registered Jack. Because MT-RJ is small in size, this cable is very popular.
MT-RJ patch cables are commonly used for networking applications. Its size is slightly smaller than a standard telephone jack and easy to operate.
The name MT-RJ comes from the MT and RJ connector types, from which the MT-RJ fiber optic connector was developed.
MT-RJ fiber patch cables feature dual fiber connections, meaning two glass connections in one MT-RJ fiber optic connector.
Another special point is that MT-RJ has a plastic housing and plastic ferrule. There are MT-RJ fiber optic patch cables in female type and male type; the difference is that the MT-RJ male type has two pins on each MT-RJ fiber optic connector.
