optical or electrical connections using various cables and connectors. The partition panel mounting devices allow for a mechanical connection of the plug to the panel or cabinet through a bayonet coupling. The shielded cable plugs provide
an electrical grounding structure to connect the shielded cable braid to the panel or cabinet. Grounding connection is achieved with several
contact springs in the plug, which press against the inner surface of the panel hole. The optical and electrical connections, as well as
the environmental sealing of the connector, are made immediately after the outer circular shell locks into the partition.
